Equipment
You don't need a kayak to try the sport. The Club has a range of equipment to allow you to sample the enjoyment of  the sport. To purchase this equipment we have received support from organisations such as

  • Caithness Sports Council

  • Awards For All

  • Highlands & Islands Enterprise

  • Dounreay Communities Fund

  • Caithness & North Sutherland Fund

  • Baillie Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund

We are extremely grateful to their support and encouragement.

If you use Club equipment you will be asked to make a small payment to the club. For details of these charges click here.

Club Constitution

Our constitution was last amended at the Annual Members Meeting on 23 November 2024. For a copy of the current Constitution  click here.

Annual Members Meetings
The Club normally holds the Annual Members Meeting in October or November of each year. These are open to both members and non members, though only members are eligible to vote.  If you would like to be notified of the next meeting please email us.

The Board

The current Board consists consists of up to 15 Board Members who are Trustees of the Club. For details on the current Board members click here.

Wellbeing & Protection Policy
As a club we are committed to the Paddle Scotland's Child Wellbeing and Protection Policy and the guidance given by the Highland Council's  Child Protection Committee.

Club History
The Club was formed in 1984 by "canoeists" in Thurso. If you would like to read more on the history, then click here.
